1 Peter 2:9-14
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
It is crucial to understand the importance of your calling and assignment. Each one of us has been consecrated and set apart for the Lord’s use. You are valuable! When we understand this fact individually, our decisions will automatically be chosen for us in many cases. You are called to be a leader in your sphere of influence (work, family, neighborhood, class, organization, etc.). Even though your assignment may not be that of a preacher, I guarantee you God has called you to be a “reacher”.
Allow God to use your gifts, talents, and abilities to reach for others and transform their lives from that of darkness into the light. You are the carrier of God’s glory. I encourage us to be a blessing to others in our God-given capacity.
